- Rianna recognized 9th grader Gabe Ali for English Department Student of the Quarter. She named Gabe’s excitement and curiosity in class and that Gabe helps light up the day. Thanks, Rianna!
Another teacher named her student of the quarter’s “vulnerability” and "risk taking”... which made me want to lean into that next year. You can “meet expectations” without that. But “exceeding” expectations probably involves taking risks and being open. I’m thinking about how I can provide more opportunities for that in class next year.
